Happy Thanksgiving!

I just love Thanksgiving. The break that you get to have to spend with your family.  Every year we have a fun time with my husband's family. We go to Snowbird a local ski resort in Utah. I love coming to Snowbird. We stay at a condo and have lots of family time. We swim, ski, eat all the food we can. This year has been a little bit less with the swimming, skiing and eating. The first few days my son Phoenix got some sort of bug. He was puking all over in the middle the night. Next was my nephew, then my daughter Jersey. This bug has worked it's way all through the family. All 16 of us have been have problems.  Now on the day of Thanksgiving we are all worried about our stomachs. There is a bright side....when we leave Snowbird every year I feel like I have gained 15 pounds. This year I think I have lost 15 pounds.  I hope you all are having a good Thanksgiving. * because we can't have Black Friday without Thanksgiving.  For the next 25 days for there will be Free

Inside

{I wanted to share an experience I have had this last week.  It's a bit personal but I thought it might help someone else out there.} Women, are great! I'm sure most of us know that. We go through many things especially with our bodies. From the time I was 14 years old I knew that my body was going to cause me some problems during that favorite time of month.  you know, what I'm talking about , I went to the mother-daughter tea party when I was in sixth grade to let me know that my body was going to change and that I would have to keep track of a cycle on the calendar. who does that really? )The nurse told me that this would happen every month like clock work. Well come to find out it doesn't come the same time every month and it doesn't last the regular amount of time like it should. I found that this time made me feel like I had alien parts. None of my friends had the same problems. They could keep track and that they didn't go through the crazy pain. I w

I know the luster of Halloween is blowing away like the leaves on the trees. We are all getting excited for a family vacation soon and of course Christmas. I had to post a picture of my children in their Halloween Glory! This year we went cheap on costumes and I think they turned out great.

Birthday Bash

it’s Rhiannon’s birthday today!! this is Megan , her sister, typing. and as a special tribute to my dear sister, Rhiannon, i thought i’d say a few kind words about her. Rhiannon and i are 10 years apart. i know it was really hard for her to have an annoying little sister that was so far apart in age. but that never stopped her from being my best friend. Rhiannon was always there for me whenever i needed her. she let me hang out with her and her cool, popular friends even though i probably bugged the crap out of them. she took me to movies, took me snowboarding for the first time, coached my diving team in the summers, chaperoned my school field trips, took me on road trips, and taught me how to dress and look cute. in short: i completely and utterly worshiped her {and still do} Rhiannon never treated me like a burden or like i was the uncool, baby sister that i was. she treated me as an equal & as a friend. i look up to Rhiannon so much! she is such

A little bit about me

To those of you that don't know me and have recently join my blog as a fan.  Here are a few facts about me.... I love to be creative . I enjoy making things. I love to take an item that looks used and abused, turn it around and make beautiful. I have made many of my decoration for my home because money is tight.  One of my newest creations I have a passion of fashion . I have always enjoyed clothes and shopping for clothes. (who doesn't) Growing up I would wear my mom's old '70's clothes, thrift shop and was always shopping the clearance rack. I would find awesome outfits and make them work for me. I am still doing that today but I have given up my polyester collection of clothing for Halloween use only. You know the saying t-shirt and jeans girl? Well that is me. But I have become a bit more sophicated with my t-shirt and jeans.  I love jewelry , if you can't tell. I have always loved sparkly things. I use to take my great-grandmother's
